Our unique method of applying fibre strands and concrete disperses the fibre to create a single unified matrix, rather than the separate layers produced by other methods.
This one-layer approach eliminates the risk of delamination or separation, and it almost entirely removes the fine, spider-web cracking common to other materials and application methods.
Without separate layers, every GRC product we produce has far greater tensile and impact strength than most alternatives on the market, allowing it to perform reliably in all weather conditions, indoors or outdoors.

COLOUR THAT LIVES WITHIN
This same distinctive process also allows us to introduce colour through a controlled chemical reaction.
Featherstone GRC uses no paint or surface coating. Instead, a series of applications developed by our in-house chemist allow colour to penetrate directly into the matrix, making it impervious to sun and rain.
Our sealants are applied the same way, using nanotechnology to penetrate the matrix and further protect our products from ice.
Surface colours and sealants, by contrast, are prone to bond breakdown, scratching, and fading over time.
